  1. WinSys95 License Agreement

  4.  (1) Copyright: The WinSys95 programs and all other programs
  5.  and documentation distributed or shipped with it are Copyright
  6.  to Fugue Software, 1988, 1994, and are protected by Australian
  7.  and international copyright law. In the rest of this document,
  8.  this collection of programs is referred to simply as "WinSys95".
  9.  You are granted a license to use your copy of WinSys95 only
  10.  under the terms and conditions specified in this license
  11.  agreement.

  13.  (2) Use of One Copy on Two Computers: If you have a copy of
  14.  WinSys95 which is licensed for use on a single computer, you may
  15.  install it on two computers used at two different locations
  16.  (for example, at work and at home), provided there is no
  17.  possibility that the two computers will be in use at the same
  18.  time, and provided that you yourself have purchased WinSys95,
  19.  or if WinSys95 was purchased by your employer, that you have
  20.  your employer's explicit permission to install WinSys95 on two
  21.  systems as described in this paragraph. The right to install
  22.  one copy of WinSys95 on two computers is limited to copies
  23.  originally licensed for use on a single computer, and may not
  24.  be used to expand the number of systems covered under a
  25.  multi-system license.

  27.  (3) Use of WinSys95 on Networks or Multiple Systems: You may
  28.  install your registered copy of WinSys95 on a computer
  29.  attached to a network, or remove it from one computer and
  30.  install it on a different one, provided there is no possibility
  31.  that your copy will be used by more users than it is licensed
  32.  for. A "user" is defined as one keyboard which is connected to
  33.  a computer on which WinSys95 is installed, regardless of
  34.  whether or not the user of the keyboard is aware of the
  35.  installation or use of WinSys95 in the system.

  37.  (4) Making Copies: You may copy any version of WinSys95 for
  38.  normal backup purposes, and you may give copies of the
  39.  shareware version to other individuals, which they may also use
  40.  and copy subject to the terms of this agreement. If you copy
  41.  the shareware version of WinSys95 for others, you must include
  42.  all of the files distributed with it, including this one. You
  43.  may not give copies of the registered version to any other
  44.  person for any purpose, and you may not make any copies of the
  45.  printed WinSys95 manual without explicit written permission
  46.  from Fugue Software.

  48.  (5) Distribution Restrictions: ASP Vendors may distribute
  49.  WinSys95 as part of their shareware offerings provided they abide
  50.  by the ASP regulations and guidelines. Non ASP vendors may
  51.  distribute WinSys95 shareware version provided they distribute
  52.  the entire WinSys95 package. They may add files to it, but
  53.  under no circumstances may they remove files. They must also
  54.  inform buyers of their obligation to register the program if
  55.  they continue to use it after a reasonable evaluation period.
  56.  NON ASP vendors must also not charge more than a reasonable
  57.  copying fee for the disks (around $US3 per 360k disk, and no
  58.  more than $US8 for 1.4M disks). Individual copies of the
  59.  shareware version may be passed to friends and associates for
  60.  their individual use provided the entire package is passed on,
  61.  and the recipient is made aware of their obligation to
  62.  register. This same applies to hardware vendors who bundle
  63.  shareware with their systems. Specifically, WinSys95 is NOT
  64.  free or Public Domain, and you may not represent it as such.
  65.  You may not sell the registered version without express written
  66.  permission from Fugue Software.

  68.  (6) The attached VENDINFO data record is hereby incorporated by 
  69.  reference.  Any distribution satisfying all the distribution 
  70.  requirements expressed in that data record is hereby authorized.
